i just had a baby.we have so many bills is welfare a way to go

He can file for disability, he paid for it and now is the time to use it. Since you have a baby, you may qualify for WIC and food stamps, you just need to check with your local social services office to find out what you qualify for.

Welfare is meant for situations like this. It was designed to be a kind of safety net for the working poor who are really in trouble if the primary bread winner is out of work. I woudn't be ashamed about it. It's commendable of your husband to work two jobs to support his family. You might consider getting a part time job to help supplement welfare income; they really don't give you a lot of money. Congratulations on your new baby, and hope your husband feels better soon!

Yes, he can file for disability but that is only like 200.00 a week. You can apply for WIC, food stamps, and might qualify for temporary cash assistance. Contact your mortgage company , maybe they can defer some monthly payments until you get back on your feet. And while he is off, he could watch the kids and you get a job at a temp service and just quit when he is cured.

your husband has p payed taxes for years I'm assuming where do you think that money goes ? to people who dint need it or don't want to work i knew somebody once who made alot of money under the table she was pregnant had welfare pay for it.you are having hard times and you need help it would help and any money you or your husband has paid in taxes while working take it you've earned it

there is a time limit on welfare now and it won't pay for all the things you think it will.
