I was beaten to a pulp and now my face is swollen as fudge and my eye is swelled shut. Is there anything I can do to help my face heal faster or is there any standard treatment that I should know about?

It sounds as if you should see a doctor. If your eyeball was injured there could be some loss of vision. If it is only the outside area that was injured then you will probably be OK.

Cool compresses over your face and eyes should help. I do thing you should see a doctor.

You should also see the police while the evidence is still prominent. Press charges and a victim's fund will cover your medical if cost is an issue.

Press charges anyway or the person might do this to you again with even worse results next time. Go to the authorities, then go to the doctor.

you need to go to the Dr to have the eye checked. they could have fractured your face and pieces of that went into your eye, or they could have knocked your eye out of socket. There are many different ways that your eye could be injured, and if the swelling has already set in then not much to do there. Alternate between hot and cold compresses and get to the Dr. Try not to open it, if you can see anything out of it at all, do not look into bright lights, if it is injured, this will make it worse

You should ice it to reduce the swelling, 30 minutes on, 30 minutes off. In the meantime make an appointment to see your doc or go to the ER. You may have orbital fractures (around the eyes) or other facial fractures which require attention.

Cold. Always cold for swollen. If you use ice, make sure you surround it by something like a kitchen towel. If your face and eye is that swollen, you should probably see a physician.
