It only hurts when stiff. After sleeping or sitting still..then hurts when first walked on, but after 1 minute, no pain and I can do anything painless. But sit still for 10 minutes or inactivity and it tightens up and I cant even stand on it. anyone know what this condition is called? anyone have a medical link on the web for it?

i stained a muscle in my upper back about 6 days ago, and it's still bothering me. I finally read some information and found out that I was taking care of it wrong... I had been applying heat ever since it happened and now i read that's bad and it should be ice to contract the blood vessels... Now there's a light bruise and I'm wondering if this is going to affect recovery time at all, or if it's just going to add to the discomfort? or any other info you might have on the subject would be much appreciated

I can not work because of this, but I can not get disability. I can not bend over to put shoes on, or even pick up my son which weights 25 pounds. They want me to do physical theropy, and see a specialtist. I have seen 4 different doctors, one said I had Arthritist, 2 said I had a deterated disc and pinched nerve,3 said I just needed to streach,4 said my mucles bunch up when I stress. My regular doctor said that my mri said I had a Disc Protrusion which was not pinching a nerv, just touching it. How accurate is the mri anyway. Back problems run on both sides of my family. Some mornings when I wake up I can not walk. I can not get disability but I can not work either. I have a wife that is 7 months pregent, a son that is 7 years old and a son that is 1 and a half years old. I had the only income until I went down. I get 136 a week with unemployment but I am loosing my insurence now. I figured if I could find a job I would take it anyway.

My wrist it broken in 3 places, two cracks going across my growth plate on my Radius, and one V-shaped rack on the tip of my Ulna, I don't get my cast off for several more weeks, but do you think I could be subject to physical therapy once it is off? It was a pretty bad impact. (rockclimbing)

I used to run track and cross country in High School. I'm 26 now and started running again. My ankles are starting to feel what shin splints feel like. What can I do to prevent this or get rid of the problem quickly so I can continue to run again. I run on a treadmill at the gym. Please help. Thanks!

I broke my pinky finger 4-5 years ago and the doctor did a really bad job at putting on the splint so the finger is now slightly deformed and is occasionally numb. Over the past 2 years, however, I have been experiencing arm weakness, aching, shoulder discomfort on the arm with the broken finger. Sometimes I can't fall asleep because my arm is bothering me so much. Also, I'm not sure but when I raise my arm to drain the blood to my shoulder region, it actually feels better so I'm suspecting it has something to do with blood circulation to my arm? I have seen 2 doctors but they have not made a conclusive diagnosis. I have tried weight training using my shoulder/arm muscles but it hasn't gone away. Is the finger injury related to the arm pain? Any suggestions to what might this condition be? Thanks!

I dislocated my shoulder few month ago when I had an event in b-ball game. Currently, its popped (like a sound but not out from its spot-I assumed its muscle with muscle sound) but unhurt when I lay down trying to raise my arm to excercise it. I want to strengthen the shoulder by liftin some weights/go to gym so I can get back to play my basketball again. Is that possible? How to get back 100%?
