Change your seat height, and place wrist pad in front of your keyboard. Often, a change of direction helps.
Also, there are ergonomically layed out keyboards which can do the same thing.
Tendonidous is over use of a muscle, same motion repeated too often.
Hacks...er..doctors want to cut muscles to fix you, but that is often unnecessary. I've also know of people who have had good luck with chiropracters fixing these types of issues.

There are a lot of different types of therapy and exercises you can do for your wrists. It would be my suggestion to find out exactly what is wrong, often times self-diagnosis is incorrect. You may find yourself doing things that aren't have much of an effect at all, or actually are making the problem worse.
It could be tendonitis, which is the aggravation of the tendon sheathes. It could be carpal tunnel, which is the aggravation of the nerves that run through the carpal tunnel of the wrist. It could be muscle strain.. or it could be something referring pain to the wrist.
Once you know what the problem is, it's alot easier to figure out what to do.

Do not type continuously, take breaks between typing and relax. You may also need to rest your wrists well while typing and you should try typing with all your fingers, rather than jabbing the keyboard with two fingers.

These Dynaballs are terrific! Also for Carpel Tunnel Syndrome. If you don't do something about your wrists that's next! Pro athletes also use it for strength training. WELL worth the price and effort! Good luck.
PS ~ I don't work for them!
