It only hurts when stiff. After sleeping or sitting still..then hurts when first walked on, but after 1 minute, no pain and I can do anything painless. But sit still for 10 minutes or inactivity and it tightens up and I cant even stand on it. anyone know what this condition is called? anyone have a medical link on the web for it?

I have this also..a pain in the a.s.s but very treatable..it is called a fallen arch, and you go to the foot doctor for it. They will have an orthodic made for you, you just need arch support. After wearing mine in my shoes or in my slippers around the house for about 3 months, it doesn't hurt after sleeping or sitting so much, if at all. Don't believe anyone if they say go BUY medication..there is none that will help..mine were extremely sore after sleeping, so I went to the foot doctor(I don't know what it is called exactly) That is the ONLY way to help it. Good Luck!

Could be just plantar fasciitis. I recommend you see a podiatrist specialist and have diagnostic testing done. That way the physician can determine the extent of the condition and an appropriate treatment can be developed. Good luck.

This sounds like Plantar Fasciiatis. I have it, and have bought orthotics which I have been wearing for about 6 weeks. It is slightly better, but I have been told it will take up to a year to heal. I have been looking for others who have it, and have a question in here about it myself
