I have a 2nd degree chemical burn on my scalp and it became infected 12 days ago... The infection is gone. How much longer will it take for it to heal now. It has been three weeks total since i got the burn...Is this about right?

Nothing will heal while it is infected. Once the infection is gone, give yourself another two weeks to see any results. Sorry to hear about your burn.

Depending on how severe, it can take months to be completely healed up. A shame about it being on the scalp, because it is possible the scar tissue will not grow hair.

If it's any size it will need medical treatment to heal. If it's infected she should see a doctor in any case.

yeah, sounds right, it might take awhile, once anything is infected it takes a while to heal
