You might try contacting the pharmaceutical company that makes the more expensive pills. A lot of the major pharmaceutical companies have developed a low income plan for those who cannot afford their medications.
If the medication prescribed by the second doctor is not the same medication, then it might be a reason for your mother not getting better. Did the second doctor have access to all her files, charts, and medical tests done by the first doctor? If not, it might be possible that the second doctor didn't have all the facts necessary.
Almost every doctor has a different opinion; it might be a good idea to get a third opinion from a different doctor, and see if he concurs with one or the other. Just make sure that he has a copy of her medical records.
Hope this helps!

The first doctor might be crazy. But he's more upset that your mom got a second opinion: Not really professional, but doctors are only human too.
On the other hand, you might want to be sure that the medications are indeed the same (Generic being just a name for the same product, but not fancied up).
I sure hope your mom gets helped, though: A friend of mine with brittle bones just broke his arm- actually, just got it fixed. And he's upset that the bone problem wasn't caught before, when there's a history of it in his family.
Good luck!

The surgeon could in basic terms prescribe the abortion tablet for 2 motives: a million.) She asked it and needs to have a scientific abortion. 2.) She has a blighted ovum (the place the gestational sac develops or maybe element of the fetus develops, however the comprehensive ingredient on no account seems) and the surgeon is conscious that there isn't any desire of the toddler ever bobbing up. you may desire to take a seat back down and ask her what's 'incorrect' with the being pregnant. in case you seem such as you are going to freak out on her, she's much less probably to be straightforward with you. actual, as quickly as she takes the tablet the being pregnant's over. Mifeprex halts cellular branch and kills the fetus. If she's taken even one she has to proceed it till she has a miscarriage.

Generix work (cheaper versions of expensive medications).
If you're really worried, even get a third opinion. Majority rules. Request further tests to work out what is actually wrong and why the she is not responding to these medications. Quite sad, I'm sorry she's going through this. :o(

no he's not crazy, just upset that you got another doc, if the first doc is that certain that she needs the rx he perscribed, then tell him to give her samples, all dr's offices have free samples of medications, they all have drug reps visit them all week, bringing tons of med samples. so call & ask his nurse if you can have some samples that she cant afford the rx

Would be interesting to find out what she is suffering from, that does not seem to be responding.. Generics may work a bit slower but they still work.
