why do i feel its going to be a bummer of a day

Each time I need a refil, my consistantly takes between 3-5 days to send a simple fax back...this means I have to go several days without medication.

For whatever reason, she writes short prescriptions, so I either have to keep going back to the Dr or ask for refils (as she suggest I do!!), but she is painfully SLOW.

Is this common??

I am a special operations wh remembers the pain of becoming what I am today, I laugh now but I remember how bad I felt in training. so here's how it started my battle believes that a person can not die from sleep deprivation no matter how long they are kept awake, I on the other hand believe that if for example if a person was kept awake for 23 hours everyday for say 11 months that they would die and the cause would be sleep deprivation. I am a Lupus patient. Every now & then I get a sharp burning pain in one of my toes. This is usually something I can tolerate, & then it disappears within a week or two. For the past couple weeks I have had intense excrutiating pain on the ball of my right foot, & in my right toes as well as the left ones. It's a burning pain coming from within. The areas are red, appear swollen, & the discomfort I feel is relieved by squeezing my foot. if I stay off my feet for about 30 minutes, the pain goes away but as soon as I move around again I'm in tears because it hurts so much. What is this? This has been going on too long & I am irritated that I am suddenly so immobile.

I woke up this morning with a killer headache. No other symptoms. I had a tiny hangover the day before, but afaik hangovers only last a day. This morning i took 1g of acetaminophen with 130mg of caffeine (branded as excedrin tension headache). I don't think i have any migraines. I'm a 19 year old male. It's been about 2-3 hours since I took the medication.

Any ideas?

Recently, I was wearing a strong magnetic earing, which caused some of my skin to peel off and turn flaky and a bit scabby. I removed this and had a slight dent in my ear lobe. Now, I have left it alone and a new scab is forming which I haven't touched. Should this now not leave a scar?

I have a pain above my right ear, the pain spreads into my right eye and check. The pain in my eye is more of a pressure type pain. I can feel the pain all around the eye ball. My check is like a numb feeling. The pain stops if I put my hand on my head or lay my head down on that side. Pain seems to be worse by the end of day. I can take a hot hot bath with the steam relazing the pain and pressure. I also sleep on a heating pad. Morning time pain is almost gone, but soon returns the more I am up. The doctor treated me for an inflammed temple over a month ago. It did sooth the pain, but it has not completely gone away.

i.e. one where you don't have to lift, bend, sit or stand for extended periods of time, etc.

no idea what kind of work would work best.

I did OpenVMS (old computer system) system administration in the past, but now that system is completely obsolete. I earned a Project Manager certification (PMP) since... I haven't worked in 5 years, I've been on disability.

I really need my sleep, I have to have around 9 hours to feel half decent the next day, but sometimes I actually find it hard to know if when I thought I was awake I was actually still asleep. I have slept-walked my whole life and got into some pretty scary situations. Last night I know I had a bath and dried my hair but looking back it feels like I was asleep then, the things thats really worrying me is if I can be asleep but still drive! I often get to work and wonder if I was paying any attention and I have recently had an accident leaving work. I just dont know how I actually know im awake as I am so capable when asleep, just looking for advice.........

my husband has been addicted to painkillers for over a year. he doesnt need them at all, it was just something he got into! which i cant tell you how much that enrages me to think about, but thats neither here nor there. he is so dependent upon them now and he says that they are what make him not depressed. but i cant stand the side effects: drowsy, irrational, impulsive, mood swings ranging from high to low and he has ocd so it makes his ticks worse. he never was like this till he got on them. now the only thing is that is good is that they somewhat control his seizures. he has temproral lobe epilepsey. i find myself constatley annoyed with him, with the actions he takes, the money he is spending and i just dont know what to do at all anymore.-mommy b

It doesn't look bruised or anything. It itches alot. But everytime I itch it, it hurts. It hurts to touch anything with it. I hit my foot on the side of the door (not like stubbing my toe just tapped it)and it hurt really bad. What is this?

Well my muscles seem fine so i didn't bruise or pull the pectoral. But I have this pain when i breathe (DEEP) inside my chest and it's not like other peoples. I feel very small cracks (kinda like cracking knuckles on a very very small scale) when i breathe deep and my heart beats. It's been going on for 5 days already and it doesn't hurt as much. Lower left (back) abdomen also makes sends when i go to touch my toes... weird but doesn't hurt or anything. Pee is kind of cloudy (maybe it was the coffee?) Mostly this is just annoying and I can do everything normally. Before i had a bruised or inflamed sternum and was kind of like now but more centered. Pretty sure no broken bones and it's not a heart problem (my left arm is fine...). Any idea? This just confuses and annoys me rather than worries me.
SORRY for the long paragraph detail but I figured it's better to be thorough to distinguish this from other arbitrary symptoms/injuries.

I was given local anaesthetic 2 days ago while the doctor stitched up my face... now part of my face is totally numb but this is no the part that was stitched up / anaestesised... that part I can feel again (above my eye) but my nose and part of my cheek are totally numb... a few days ago I was kicked in the face many times... is it numb because of the anaesthetic or because it is heavily bruised?

Also one of my eyes cannot open fully, I can see from it but it is heavily bloodshot(the part that is normally white is all red).. I am worried about internalt bleeding... some parts of my face hurt - others I cannot feel at all

Had this for over 10 years. I am 37 years old.

My lower back is sensitive to the touch. It feels swollen all the time. i tried chiropractor and theropy and nothing helps.

I tried several medications from doctors and nothing helps. I tried acupunctor and that didnt help.

I want to be normal again. My back specialist (sports injury doctor) didnt help. Is there any other type of doctor i could see that could pinpoint what i have?
