What an odd question. I've never been shot, but seeing as how you can die and you bleed, I don't imagine that it feels all that great.

It depends on the location and the caliber. Of the fellow service men I have talked to that have been shot, they all said that it burns like fire. Which makes sense since there's an explosion that starts the bullet on it's way and the friction of the air it travels thru.

That's about as close as I would want to be being shot.
