I am a special operations wh remembers the pain of becoming what I am today, I laugh now but I remember how bad I felt in training. so here's how it started my battle believes that a person can not die from sleep deprivation no matter how long they are kept awake, I on the other hand believe that if for example if a person was kept awake for 23 hours everyday for say 11 months that they would die and the cause would be sleep deprivation. Help me people

I believe that you are right. However, I could not find any definitive sites nor references of scientific study, but that is to be expected. Can you just imagine anyone testing humans, allow the experiment to record the amount of time it takes the average person to die from sleep dep?
I found data on rats and it quoted between 2-3 weeks for death to occur.
