Take a sharp pin or needle and sterilize it in a flame for several seconds, then let it cool. Pierce the surface of the skin, not deep into the flesh, but the skin around where the glass went in with the needle. Use some rubbing alcohol on the skin around the glass too if you have it available. Use the needle to carefully remove the dead skin around the glass without pushing it in deeper, until enough is exposed so you can get it with the tweezers. Once it is out, wash it out well with soap and warm water, and cover it with a bandaid.

Sometimes this will work: put a dollop of Elmer's (type) glue over the sliver of glass. Wait for it to dry completely. Then gently pull the glue off of your foot. There is a pretty good chance that the glass sliver will come out with the glue. You have to be patient & wait till the glue is totally dry for it to work.

You have to work it out with tweezers and walking on it will only push it in further. If you leave it alone your skin may push it out on its own.

if you are unable to get it out with ease, than go see a doctor. you will only push the matter in deeper and could possibly get infection. trust me, infection of any wound sucks worse than obtaining the wound.
