Should i worry to much about a small dark spot under my finger nail ? I doesn't hurt at all when touched, but over the past three days, it now turned into a blackish-purplish color. It looks like a bacterial infection. I should be fine as long as i clean it with an antiseptic such as ointment, right ?

I dislocated my knee ccap about 10 times in the past 2 or 3 years. It hurts more and more every time and it takes longer to heal everytime. I just finished about a 2 month physical therapy session. I now have to option of getting my knee scoped b/c i tore the ligament and cartilage that holds my kneecap in place. this should cut out all the stuff thats torn.

1. has anyone ever had this done to them?
2. does it hurt?
3. how long is the recovery process?
4. can u walk right after or do u need to keep it braced or something?

i know my doctor can answer this but i dont see him for about a week and im curious.

I havent had any problems with my knee, but from out of nowhere when i straighten out my knee i can feel a click in the back of my knee....... It doesnt hurt when it happens!

Do you know what the problem could be!

I tore my medial meniscus on my other knee last year so i know i didnt tear something in my knee.

i fractured my pinky at the base of my pinky (not in the hand) and got a cast on my pinky ring finger and hand for three weeks. I got it off then a day or 2 later my ring finger started to hurt. Is it just sore from being in the cast or is it hurt?

My dad's lower back has been hurting him for a while now. It's mostly on the left side, right up alongside the spinal column. The pain, he thinks its muscular, goes down his leg as well, which made me think it was sciatica... But the sciatic nerve is in the back of the leg, his leg hurts in the front. The two pains might be completely unrelated sore muscles, but I'm not positive. Any suggestions?

I was just biking, and i fel, I cut a huge hting of skin off my hand, and its not bleeding, but i can see all this gross blood.
My left ring finger is numb, and it tingles alot, i dont know.

So today at work I had about a 15-20 minute period of time where I was getting these horrible stabby pains in my stomach, like the upper left part of it and it felt like it was coming from the inside out. The only way I can describe it was it felt like hydrochloric acid burning a hole through my stomach. Then just now I get the same weird acid-y stabby pain in my neck shooting up to the back of my ear. What gives?

I punched a wall (seem to have anger management issues) and hurt my knuckle. Can still move my fingers easily but there's a pain between my first two fingers and a numbness in my index finger. Do you think it may be broken or just sprained/something else?

Sometimes, not very often, I get a sharp pain in my lower back, and when I lean up against something, the pain instantly moves to my stomach, and stays there until I take pressure off of my back, and it returns to its original location. Has anyone else ever experienced this? And does anyone know what causes this?

I am 13 femail and have had incresing pain on the inside and near the top of my right knee, I havn't had a injury that i can recall, but when i walk atleast 100meter i can feel it and it gets very saw after a while of wakling/running.
Any ideas why this might be or what to do to it?

Over the last couple of days, I've drank a couple more cups of tea than I normally do. At the same time, I've also noticed that I've been sweating more. I don't usually sweat excessively so if I cut down to normal tea intake tomorrow, will this go back to normal?

Its the Left Side Of the Throat / Neck area .. When i swallow when my head is to the left it doesnt really hurt .. But when i swallow when i tilt my head right It hurts ..
