Over the last couple of days, I've drank a couple more cups of tea than I normally do. At the same time, I've also noticed that I've been sweating more. I don't usually sweat excessively so if I cut down to normal tea intake tomorrow, will this go back to normal?
Cheers.

I drink quite a lot - around 6-7 cups a day.
Usually, one in morning and then when I get back from college.
Yesterday/Today I had a couple of cups at college so I'm thinking this is the problem!

Yes, tea can cause nervousness, heart palpitations and even sweating. Cutting back on the caffeine should do it. Caffeine is one of those drugs that the more you have of it, the more you become accustomed to it. Conversely, if you are not used to a lot of caffeine, it can cause a reaction in your central nervous system.

I get the sweats when I drink too much caffeine. Yeah, you'll be fine tomorrow. If you're worried, make yourself a teabag lottery with regular and decaf bags. Works for me, my caffeine intake is right down and I have noticed the difference in my health without noticing the difference in the caffeine....KWIM? (I know I'm a a **** for having to play tricks on myself, hahaha)

Unless you drink copious amounts of tea, this does not sound like something excess caffeine would do.
I'd suggest you get a checkup.
Cutting down on caffeine will do no harm.

Caffeine may seem a quick pick-me-up. But it causes dehydration. This could be why your are sweaty. IIf your pee gets really dark and you start getting headaches STOP the caffeine altogether. But if sweaty is all for now just cut back and things should go back to normal.

I drink coffee all day and alcohol all night. It would be good to cut down on both, but they seem to balance each other out. :)
Just watch your resting heart rate, because a high resting heart rate could be a tell tale of a heart attack or stroke at any age.
Mine is up there and I'm 35, so maybe I should cut it out.

No caffeine is the way to go, I used to drink a LOT and since I gave it up my blood pressure has gone down dramatically. It's hard though, headaches, etc. lots of cravings.

It might. But have you noticed more heat than usual too? It might not be your tea at all. Keep in mind you didn't say how much tea you actually drink.

I dont think tea will cause sweating although it is a dialetic which will cause dehydration.
Also too much caffiene is bad as it is quite a strong drug,
