Not to cure it, but saline solution sqirted up there helps. Also, there is a new sinus thing at the pharmacy, can't rememeber what it is called, but it was on Oprah. It is a little tea pot looking thing, and you put hot water and the mix in it then put it in your nose. Weird, but I hear it is awesome. Couldn't hurt to check it out.

Love it, yes I saw the Oprah tea pot sinus wash and we do not have it on the market here in Europe yet, so I improvised. I had what I thought was a blocked nose and it was itchy. Eventually I got so bad that I filled up the sink with warm water, cupped my hand and sniffed it up my nose! OMG the pain, the eyes went red, felt as if the only way I was going to get any relief, bang my head off the sink, as that painful experience might relief the nose pain experience. I went to the Doc seems I had a Sinus Infection, so antibiotics, but I will not be trying this sinus wash ever again. I am trying to keep the humidity high in my home, hoping that will assist me to be able to keep the sinus clear? Good Luck.

there is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to sinusitis and/or allergies. i suffered untold with ears, nose, throat and lungs in florida. thought it was over when i hightailed it to the beautiful desert southwest. i was allergy-sinusitis free for 10 years. suddenly it's reared its ugly head again. i don't believe there's a great deal of difference in one truth, tho -- home remedies generally beat physicians and meds hands-down. saline wash unlimited times thru any given day, whenever you feel the need to breathe and can't. non-medicated saline. works better than all the weird-name antihistamines, and all you're doing is simply gettinig the crud out. kind of akin to taking a bath rather than spraying on perfume over a filthy body.
and pollen masks work wonders. you may get some weird looks, but if you're as sick as you believe you are, you won't care. we're not out to win beauty contests; we're out to live as long and healthfully as possible.

Keeping your sinuses clear is helped by flushing with filtered warm water with dissolved canning salt(no additives), I use 1/4 tsp to 1 cup warm water and use a baby nasal aspirator. Once a day when you have an attack and at least once a week keeps your breathing passages open.

You can take about 25 grams milk cream mixed with 2 ta\ble spoon lemon juice and 1 table spoon honey. apply it to the elbow and wait for it to dry. If possible try using it at night. It works nicely.
