most nasal anti-inflammatory medications are sprays, and whether or not you need them will be up to the doctor that sees you.

Anti-inflammatory drugs work primarily on muscle and you can buy them at any pharmacy - aspirin and ibuprofen are the most popular. I would recommend that you don't put any cream inside your nose, the skin is far too delicate. These drugs work within an hour. A pharmacist is a good person to discuss your problem with and it may save you a trip to the doctor.

personaly i dont know the whole extent of the situation and have not met you but i would suggest if your doctor thinks its right for you to have them then the doc will give em to ya there is a low resistence rate so there is no reason to not try them and if ya get spray it will work within 10seconds to 1 minute after spraying if not less if you get opills then you will have to wait around 3 mins to an hour to see a noticable effect it varies depending on the drug given a cream is unlikely but possible and usualy works around same as spray lasts longer but doesnt have such a potent effect (does not releive as much)
