VERY cold soak until worst of pain over-soap and water cleanse then cover with antibiotic cream and bandaid or dressing. Just make sure it isn't a "deep" burn over a joint!!!! Don't want to lose function!! If it blisters-DO NOT POP IT. couple of tylenol or ibuprofen and you're all set!!

I know this is probably a few hours late- But cool running water and lots of aloe. I've gotten my share of burns while working as a baker.

Dermoplast spray is great for burns! It has an anesthetic to remove the pain immediately and also some healing properties.

The best thing for a burn is aloe. If you get it on as soon as you burn itwo'nt even blister. What ever you do don't put butter on it,it causes it to bring more heat to it.
