for the past few day's i have been having a sharp pain on the left side of my head. probally a headache? and Nausea almost all day.

i scared to eat because i dont want to throw up but i do eat alittle i had a hamburger today. the pain on my head ussally starts at night when i lay down but the Nausea happens whenever even at school.

im thinking of going to the ER. should i? a couple weeks ago my girlfreind threw up a couple times but that was weeks ago.

I woke up one morning with a severe lower back ache after about a week the pain was just one the left side and then it switched to pain in just the right side. Now the pain has moved into my right hip. My back doesn't even hurt anymore, just my hip. If I am sitting or laying it doesn't really hurt. When I walk I have to take small steps because if I extend my leg to far the sharp pain comes back and crossing my legs also causes the sharp pain. Any ideas on what could cause this? And/or how long to wait to see if the pain will subside before seeing a doctor? thanks for any help.

Can someone please help me evaluate what type of knee injury occured to me? Was it ACL, tendonitis, etc..



Okay, about 3 months ago, i was playing soccer for my team and i made a sharp turn and my right knee had a "giving out.'' but from what i remember, i didnt hear anything. But, i kept on playing the game even though i had great pain in my knee. When i got home, my knee was VERY swollen and it was so for the next few weeks[it felt like there was fluid in it], and i couldn't make it straight without it hurting badly and when i would walk, i would feel random giving out feelings in my knee when i made my leg straight even a little.

All help is GREATLY appreciated!!

i took the for shoulder pain and just wanted to make sure it wasnt too much, i have a hydrocodone perscription, did i take too much or am i just being paranoid? the reason im asking is because now my jaw feels funny, is it just because my muscles are really relaxed? thanks in advance and god bless!

p.s. im not nauseated or vomiting and no ringing in my ears i feel alright but im a little freaked out, and yes, i take them for pain and have a perscription. thanks

A couple of weeks ago I slipped on the ice while getting my fish house on the back of the truck. I had trouble with my back since then. As soon as it started to feel better, I slipped getting out of my truck and fell on my back. I had a little trouble but nothing major about 4 days ago. Today I was getting a gun safe out of the back of the truck and my back popped. I have had pain ever since and can hardly walk.

I also can't seem to shake off having a cough and cold, and suffer from heartburn a lot.

I've tried a regular sleep pattern, and spending a whole day in bed but neither have refreshed me.

Im 20 yrs old have had rheumatoid arthritis since i was about 12 and my hip use to hurt. But after many yrs without a problem the pain suddenly came back a few months ago and really hurts after i walk or stand for a while and feels really stiff. I believe I do or will need hip replacement but my insurance doesnt kick in untill august so i cant have xrays or anythin till then because i cant afford it I can barely afford my dr appts. I just really need some info if i do or dont need or how much it is and afterwards what kinda work can i do will i have to have a career behind a desk ?

I think I pulled or strained my quad on my left leg about three weeks ago playing flag football. I can run at a steady pace with no leg pain, but if I sprint it hurts. I havn't played flag football in three weeks and hoped to play tommorow, I just don't know if I can handle it or if I might make the injury worse. I also have tendonitise in my achiles on the same leg, not sure of a relationship. Any opinions. Also I have read not to take Ibuprofrin before running, any one know why cause that was my plan.

i ate popcorn a weekago and it went down funny and my throat has been irritated ever since i tried eating all sorts of thing and it doesnt get better.. drinking water or cokes makes it feel worse. it is located in the bottom part of my throat so i cant see the area with a flash light is it posible i got a peice of kernal stuck in there?

I'm 16 and I just can't get to sleep for some reason. My heart seems like it's beating kind of fast because of adrenaline or something. I weighed myself and I lost about 6 pounds in that amount of time because I haven't been hungry and ate close to nothing. My urine is dark yellow which I know is a sign of dehydration and my vision is a bit off but not much. I took about 4 phentermine pills that I thought were caffeine pills which I know is retarded and haven't slept for more than 4 hours since...

Ive been sleepiing on the floor since January and sometimes when I wake up I have a little bit of back pain. Its nothing at all severe and its only some nights. Is this a sign of scoliosis?

(I do have a bed, I just prefer the floor, lol)

Should I go back onto my bed?
Is there a way I can check for scoliosis in my own home or should I get to the doctor A.S.A.P?

for about the past week or two, the back of my calf feels weird, the only thing i can really compare it to, is when you get a shot of novacaine in your mouth, and you know youre touching your gum, but your gum cant feel it. i can only tell this problem is there when im trying to go to sleep and only part of my leg can feel the sheets rubbing up against them, can someone tell me what they might think is wrong, and if it is serious or not?

When I had the flu, whenever I'd try to walk around for too long, my legs would start to burn then grow numb and so would my right arm. About two days ago I kind of got over the flu. Now my right arm and hand are numb a lot.

i smashed a glass this morning. Since then i have had sharp pain in my hand around the tiny cut. the cut is like a paper cut so i really think there is anyway i can get it out myself if there is anything in there.

i was wondering if anyone knows a way of drawing the glass out.
also this may just be my bf winding me up but he seems to think if it does'nt come out it might endter the bloodstream and cause me further pain. I would feel like a complete loon going to the doctors with the tiny cut !

I have been getting weird pains all around my body-in my head in my legs-everywhere. Also recently I have noticed random thin red scratches on my body again in different places-I don't know how I got them but I'm pretty sure I didn't do it. And the wierd thing is they only last about a day or two. Also I have been getting bad headaches and sometimes difficulty breathing. Do any of these symptoms remind you of something? A desease or virus? I'm getting worried so if you know anything please tell me.

I have been taking benadryl for severe itching for a week-it is the only thin that gives me relief and when it wears off i start up itching again and cant take it-it says to take every 4 hrs or so and i take it maybe 4 or 8 hrs apart-i am wondering if i will start getting immune to it and it wont work becasue i know we can get immune to most any medication-but does anyone know how long it may take before it wont help anymore? or anything else that may help with the itching?

what could be wrong? when I get ready for bed, I would have to go like 3-5 times before I can actually empty out my bladder. It seems as if my bladder never clears out completely. I go once, I get up, do something (like brush my teeth, change, etc.) i would end up back on the toilet. It's usually just a teeny amount too, I would say like one teaspoon. My previous doc prescribed me overactive bladder medication but I got an allergic reaction to it &since then nothing else has been done.

i was chewing a candy then my siter wanted to see want color my candy was...so i stuck out my tongue ans she said it was bleeding....and it was....i keep gargling water to get the blood out of my mouth but so far it hasnt stopped....this happened about five minutes ago...how do i make it stop bleeding!

I have scars on my arm from misquito bites from last summer. I have asked a pharmacy if there is any cream but they said there is no stuff that make scars go away. it looks like blotches of different skin tones on my skin. now i dont like 2 wear short sleeves because of my scars. Anything 2 do?

My family always used to tell me that A new cut would always heal faster if the bandage was taken off. After it stoped bleeding, is that true? Maby it will dry the scab faster.
