This is not abnormal when quitting cold turkey or in general. You may want to talk to your health care provider can help you with the anxiety attacks and weird feelings with medication or alternative therapies. Also, if you just quit and aren't using the patch, lozenge, gum or something else that has nicotine in it, your body is just experiencing withdrawl and it will subside soon. Good luck and I commend you on your effort to not smoke.

Those are all withdrawl symptoms. Quitting cold turkey is very unpleasant and nearly impossible. You should ask your doctor to recommend an alternative product such as gum or the patch. There is no point in suffering if you don't have to.

Good for you that you are trying to quit. If you can stick with all of these abnormal sensations they will tail off and disappear after 30 days. Just tell yourself "I've quit for X days, I can do it for another one". When you make it to 30 you are on the back straight!! Good luck and good health!!

quitting smoking is very stressful and if you are having anxiety attacks everyday you need to go to the Dr and talk to him/her It could be panic disorder.
