Only bone I ever broke was my toe. It was painful at the time, I sat on the floor clutching them for about 10mis, but I never felt it was necessary to take pain killers or seek extra help for it. I did it practicing high kicks in the kitchen- I kicked the edge of the work surface!

Probably toes. But it depends on the severity of the break.

I remember being on night shift one night in A&E and we had a call that the ambulance was bringing in someone with a possible broken toe.

We all tutted and grumbled at the waste of an ambulance but when the poor soul was brought in she had slipped while getting up to the toilet and had the most horrendous displaced, compound fracture of three toes.

I still shudder to think of it!

I think all fractures off any bone are painful,in my job i see all types off fractures, and the patients seem to be in pain where ever the fracture is,also it all depends the age of the patient and the type off fracture too.

depends how old you are, for example elderly (ladies particuarly) break their wrists and neck of femurs commonly, a common break for teenagers and people in their 20s can be a so called ''punch fracture''. i'd say wrists and scaphoid fractures are quite common
