A year ago i was diagnoised with degentatie disk disease in my L-5 disk and osteoarthtitis, and my doctor suggested to do physical theorpy, multipe medications, excercises. But so far nothing has worked so far. I am in horrible, severve pain. I can't run/jump or do alot of excercise, and even washing and blow drying my hair is really hard for me. I also can't sleep, and am extremly tired every day, and have difficulty sitting in class because my body hurts so much. But the pain isn't only in my back, its everywhere, and none of my family is really trying to get me a doctor right now because my father is having a prostate surgery in febuary. I don't know who to talk to because my family really doesn't notice my in pain. Its even difficult to stand for a short period of time. What should i do? Im starting to get really depressed, and even wishing i would die( alothough i would NEVER commit suicide) But any suggestions? Please serious answers only.
I'm a freshman in highschool, and 14.

Ok I know this is going to sound really weird but can using crutches cause you to get migrane type symptoms? I messed up my ankle and started using crutches on Thurs. I don't use them around the house and spent most of the weekend with my foot proped up on the couch. The last couple of days, especially since this morning, I haven't felt right. It's almost like I'm trying to get a migraine but not quite. My head hurts a little but not bad, but I'm really naous, light headed and more sensitive to light. Basically I feel like crap. My supervisor told me that it could be because I'm using the muscles in my shoulders more than usual and it's causing my head to hurt. The best way to explain what I feel like is basically a concusion after the headache has gone away. I know that sounds weird but I've had several and after a day or 2 the headache goes away but the rest of the symptoms stay the same and I was told that basically sounds like a migraine, which i've dealt with and this is different

Ok, so my mom ate some shrimp last night that she had in the freezer for quite a long time, my mom, my stepdad and I all ate some but my mom got really sick last night and had really bad cramps and nausea and diarrhea. She has had a lot of blood in her stool. What do you think is wrong, because no one else is sick who ate the shrimp? She has been bleeding alot when she goes the bathroom and I am just curious if anyone would know what to do or what is wrong. They dont really want to go the doctor because they dont have insurance at the moment but will go if really necessary. Please help me!

Ok I've been taking pain killers since I was 19 and recently I was given vicodin after I had my wisdom teeth pulled.

My problem is that when I was taking vicodin my back pain was completely gone and I mean gone. I didn't even feel anything and it was great.

Now I haven't taken any of these pills for a couple of months but I get the urge to take them to make the pain go away.

Any ideas because I can't get it off my mind. I don't think I'm addicted.

It all started weeks ago with a pain in my kidney area that felt like a kidney stone. It was not as the pain would fade when I sat down or exercised. One day, I stood and let the pain get terrible, then it was like a "shutdown" and it moved to this numbness in my leg. I don't feel the pain anymore, just the numbness. Is this kind of thing just a nuisance or could I be getting permanent nerve damage? I don't have great health insurance and I know some specialist will cost a fortune. Any experience with this or what it might be? It only seems to occur mostly when I stand in one place or sit. It is unnerving as I could probably stick a knife in my leg and not feel it when it gets totally numb. Thanks!
