the best thing i have used and heard from other doctors is take 2 asprin after a sunburn and keep taking it until the sunburn is almost gone. also put on aleo to keep the skin from drying out.

the reason you want to take the asprin is because the asprin thins the blood so that the body circulates the blood easier through the burn and makes it heal more quickly! try it and good luck

There is nothing you can do to hasten the healing process of the skin. The only things you can do is use something to make you more comfortable in the process. Aloe vera gel and bath oils help get the moisture back into the skin you baked out, and will make the eventual ichy feelings when the damaged skin sloughs off a little more tolerable. You also need to increase the amount of fluid you drink, and avoid any more sun exposure until you heal. Sorry, it's a healing thing that you can't do anything about. The body heals itself, and decides how long it needs to take to do that all by itself.

Yes. Buy an Aloe Vera plant, then apply the sap of it on your sunburn. It will itch a little bit, but it will heal your sunburn like magic.
