And for about 2 months my tail bone hurt REALLY bad... I didn't go to a doc, but is it possible that I had broken it?

I fell down the stairs 3 weeks ago (on THanksgiving week.) My tailbone hurt really bad. I iced it a little bit at the time and took lots of NSAIDS. But it is still aching at times when I sit on it, or even when I have a big fart or bowel movement. There is no sharp or burning pain, just dull ache. How long can it take these kind of things to heal? I'm not an alarmist, so I just figured it would take a few weeks to go away, but now it is starting to seem a little long! Should I go get an Xray?

I'm actually a PA student, they don't really teach us in school how long it takes a bruised tailbone to heal!!! Especially appreciate answers from Drs, nurses, med students, etc.

I have had a burning, electric like, pain that throbs and sends pain into the back of my neck and gives me a 3-5 second headrush like throbbing headache for the past 4 yrs. (since i gave birth and had an epidural). It is off an on, and VERY painful. I was taking neurontin 1x at bedtime even though the directions say 1 in the am for 1 week, then increase to 2x for 1 week, then increase to 3x a day. It was helping and i felt better so i stopped taking it. NOW i'm in alot of pain and have been taking it again 1x at bedtime for the past 4 days. Tonight i took 1 at 9pm and then another right now at midnite due to pain. IS THIS OK? I read some great articles from yahoo is BRIAN FART from 7 mos ago. From reading this info I think what i have is Neuropathic ?(i think that is what its called) , somatic pain.....does that sound right?

But last week, I had some nasal discharge from one of my nostrils that is clogged up and when I did nasal irrigation, I flushed out something that looks like a ball of black thread. Yesterday, I had the same sensation in my nose and I nasal irrigated but it won't come out, I think it went further down into the back of my throat. What should I do? If I go see a doctor, what would he do? Would the procedure be complicated and expensive? I'm short of cash right now.

yeah i broke my collar bone and hey gave me pain killers a sent me how. where they suppose to put the bone back in place or leave it and let it heal on its own?

One of my vertabrae on my upper back, very close to my neck, is very sore. It hurts constantly, and the slightest movement can make the pain worse. It hurts on both sides on my back/shoulders, and gets worse when i move my arms a certain way (above my head,put my elbows back, etc.) What could this be? What can be done to fix it?

I know this will sound gay but the worst injury I received was a gymnastic one. I was leaping over the 'horse' during gym class and the guy at the other end wasn't paying attention. I caught my **** on the 'horse' and landed on my right knee and could barely move for 6 months. 20 years later the injury still gives me problems. (Sometimes I can barely get off my settee to reach for my next drink. It's a terrible affliction!)

Ok I was just petting him on my lap ive had him for years and he bit my lip took a chunk of skin out of my upper lip and scrached and swelled my cheecks up - Ive been sterilized with water-soap

i have had neck pain and neck spasm's for about 6 month's and my doctor told me to do neck exercise's and he gave me valuims 5 mgs to take three times a day now i'm getting headaches not all the time but ever so often does this have anything to do with my neck problem .
