costochondritis? this is pain in the area around the ribs
I have had this come & go for 4 months. Anti-inflammatory medication always works for me to make it go away for a while... alleve, etc.
Just see a doctor to ask for prescription pain pills if it turns out to be not that serious.
Doc told me it could be neurological & not be pain. It isn't injured but just feels like it is hurt because that's what your brain is telling you. I am going to see a neurologist in January.
Oh yeah, adding more here now with an edit, once it felt like I was only breathing with one lung. If it would have been my left side I would have called 9-1-1 but I took a pain pill & put a nose strip on and it went away.

I don't think it is unheard of as I twisted my ankle over six years ago but didn't do anything about it and just carried on as normal, but now when I wear heels of 3'' I get a slight pain in the ankle that I damaged. Perhaps you should try a medical expert or doctor if the pain is getting to much ?

I don't know what it could be,but go to the doctor and get an x-ray done.It is probably a ripped or maybe a strained muscle-if there is such a thing as a strained muscle lol.

Only the doc would know but it might be a little hernia. [They're easy fixed]. Or it might just be a draught causing muscle discomfort. I can never let my shoulder get cold as it will stqart playing up, and it has done since I was 16.
