I have this strange feeling in my left arm (now a little bit in my right). It started off as a dull pain through the top of my arm, which started at about 7:00 tonight (it's now 1:15 a.m.), since I've gotten home (12:30) I also have a tingling sensation, and a little numbness, and sometimes my muscles will tighten up. I can also feel it in my fingers. It's kinda freaking me out.

Some additional info: I'm 18, have never had any other problems like this before, but spend a lot of time of the computer (but I just got on for the first time today).

Hi. I just have a question, in hopes of someone that might have experienced this can answer.

About 2 or 2 and 1/2 months ago I started to experience this wierd, almost like presure feeling on the back of my head (left side) almost by my neck sometimes it feels like even further up, it just depends. It dosen't hurt, its just an annoying feeling like when I lay down to watch t.v on my left side and my head is on the pillow I often find I need to switch sides just to stop the annoyance. I went to my doctor with the concern of a tumour, and he felt around and I told him about my symptoms, and he never said anything, except for my neck muscles felt a bit tight. I have no other symtoms aside from what I have explained.

I was just wondering if anyone would have any idea what could be going on like if it could be a pinched nerve or something like that..Thanks.

I have some type of cut or soemthing that has not healed on its own. I was thinking of usuing neosprin. Is it okay to put in my nose. I figure it should be because you can put Vicks in your nise and vasoline, so why not Neosporin. sorry if I misspelled anything!

My father, 67 years old, is having osteoporosis. He had a left hip joint replacement last year, due to a femur head fracture. Yesterday his right femur head broke. He has been already been diagnosed with Osteoporosis. He is also having COPD. Can someone please let me know what medicines to be taken in order to avoid any further progress of the disease and to ensure that he does not get any further broken bones. As he told us, he cannot make out how he falls down. Both the time, he fell on flat ground on the side, with nothing like water to slip on or any other factor that can make someone fall. I am extremely distressed to see this. Can some doctor or others with similar experience please help and advise me? My dad stays in Kolkata (Calcutta), India. If someone can advise on some local center that specializes in such cases, then also it would be of much help.

I'm a little afraid to take some of the OTC. meds. for the pain and swelling. I can't do the things I used to do so easily and frankly, I'm getting tired of it. Home remedies sometimes help more than anything else. Anyone?

I am in extreme pain. My arm clicks pops and HURTS! My doctor doesn't believe in pain meds. Now they are talking about the trauma unit putting a rod through my elbow! Maybe my bones are not strong enough.

does the hours start right when you turn off the light, or do you count actual hours.

It takes me about 1 hour to fall asleep. So if I get to bed at 10 PM and wake up at 6 AM then I count that as 7 hours of sleep.

Or since I had an 8 hour block of time, do I count it as 8 hours.

I am a runner who has been diagnosed with bilateral compartment syndrome in my lower legs. I am currently seeing a specialist, as well as recieving therapy a few times a week. The thing is, I am finding that the stretching and exercises that I have been shown to do feel like they are worsening my injury rather then improving it. Has anyone else ever worked through this injury, and if so, do you have any tips on how to decrease the pain associated with working out/ training/ living!?
