can you pull a butt muscle? left butt cheek right in the middle, from top to bottem, it is painfull

You can pull ANY muscle. Try using Aleve or Advil for the pain, an external analgesic such as Icy Hot or Ben Gay would work, and alternate heat and ice. 20 minutes of heat followed by a 20 minute rest then 20 minutes of ice, etc. Always make sure that neiother the heat or the ice is touching the skin directly as this can cause burns or frostbite. Be sure to rest the area. Good luck!!

What you've pulled is your sciatic nerve and it hurts like a mother from the inside of the butt cheek right down the leg. There is NOTHING you can do about it, but it should heal within four days. Just take it easy and don't strain it again.

About three weeks ago I was bowling and pulled a groin muscle.

Yeah, you can. And it hurts like hell. For muscle and joint bruises, I take arnica. For pulled joints, I say compress it and try to get some rest and massage.

I didn't realize bowling was so dangerous.Next time I'll just go for the ambiance and watch, that sounds painful.

glutious maximus....

call off of work for a few days...stay home...apply some aspercream or bengay.....drink some beers and watch gameshows on tv.
