does the hours start right when you turn off the light, or do you count actual hours.

It takes me about 1 hour to fall asleep. So if I get to bed at 10 PM and wake up at 6 AM then I count that as 7 hours of sleep.

Or since I had an 8 hour block of time, do I count it as 8 hours.

i sleep about six to seven hours most nights
when i am working and the i can get as little as four
i am talking about actual sleep
i seem to hit the bed and sleep straight away
if i don't i get up and do somthing till i fall asleep
or feel tired
count the actual hours you sleep
going to bed and taking an hour to sleep may mean you have to work on why
it could be because your bed is not right
there could be to much light in your room or not enough light
sleep is smething we all need
we can servive on as little as two hours a day
if that is yuo tough bbe care full as it can creep up on you if you are over tired and you can sleep for twelve of more hours on some days

I count the hours of sleep I get from the time I go to sleep to the time I wake up. Speaking of sleeping, that's what I'm about to do right now. It is 10:10pm here in Oklahoma.

Happy sleeping!

I get 5-6 hours. It depends when I fall asleep. I count it from the time I set my alarm clock at night until the time it goes off the next morning. Its really the only credible start/stop indicator I have.

I get about 5 to 5.5 hours of sleep on weeknights and 8 hours on the weekends.

Weird question dude.

But I would count it as 8 since while you lie there you're not 100% conscious.

Enjoy your sleep while it lasts. When you get older you'll be so tired you'll fall asleep within seconds of lying down.
