If the doctor has died why to waste the time on him rather than doing surgery for the patient who is still alive.
If the doctor is still alive then the other surgeon can take care of him.

Hm, thats a good question. Well if hes pressumed "dead", I don't see why the would work on him. If they think hes not, well than I doubt they would stop working on the patient. So I'm sure they would call for backup to help.

Well, if the doctor died, i don't think you'd work on him. he's dad. your attention would be on him instead of the patient for a little bit, but thats it

I'm sure another doctor will take over. They would not let someone lay on a table half operated on. Its against something!! I'm sure.
