i've been sick for four days now, with a touch of a cold, but worse than that - a really upset stomach and diarrhea.

yesterday i had to go to the bathroom at least ten or twelve times. probably more.
i've taken some pepto bismol, but it's not helping much at all.

anybody have any remedies that might work?
are there particular foods i should eat in certain portions?
should i see my doctor?

I know that vitamin D is not a vitamin, but a secosteroid, what are the side effects of using this steroid? My friend is using it because he belives that since it is called "vitamin D" It is essential as a supplement. Despite me explaining otherwise. So i would appricate it if anyone could provide me with details of the bad side effects.

I dropped a heavy mirror (with sharp edges) on my foot yesterday and the bleeding was insane, it soaked several dressings. The cut is very deep, but bizarrely it doesn't hurt at all.

Have I severed a nerve? Will that cause me any problems in the future?

How can you tell the difference btwn a heart problem and regular gas. I just had an awful twinge (3, actually) in my chest right about where my heart should be. It wasn't dull like gas, but really sharp. Like someone poked me with a needle. But it went away, and my heart was beating normally right after the pain. And about ten minutes later I burped. But my whole family has heart problems, so I wonder if I need to get this checked out?

(They all have cholesterol problems too, but I don't) (I'm 21)
