sorry to hear that!..you should ask the doctor!..as i think it might last for a short while!and are you taking pain killers?as that should help i guess!

Losing a limb must be absolutely devastating for you. I think what you are feeling is phantom pain. It varies with people so I can't tell you how long it lasts for. Usually, it goes away with time though. Best thing for you to do is to have a discussion with your doctor about it as there are ways and means of possibly treating it!

It probably varies from person to person. A friend of mine lost an arm due to injuries recieved in a car wreck 12 years ago. She still has phantom pains and itches in the "removed" arm.

I'M SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS....What your experiencing
is called ghost or phantom pain.....It happen's to everyone who looses a limb.....I'm not really sure how long it lasts, but I'm sure it's gonna be for awhile...Your body is in shock....and it responds with this feeling...God Bless....
