my elbow hurt and my workout trainer told me to put a compression wrap on it to compress the extensor muscle. as soon as i did the pain went away--but only when i wear the support.

does anyone have any experience with this? if i keep wearing the support will it heal or will i have to wear the brace for the rest of my life?

I've heard that you should replace your contact case every 2-3 months to prevent bacteria from growing inside your contact case.

I have these [green..] bruises on my legs and I noticed them a few days after I went to the gym. My aerobics class went there and we worked our legs. Well the next time we met, alot of them were saying that they have bruises on their legs as well.
That was about a week and a half ago.
Well, the reason it worries me is because when I was 3 1/2 I would get bruises easily so my mom took me to the doctor and it turned ou I had Leukemia. They cured it..but that's why I'm worried.
Could they be from working out?

These are 5/500 Vicoden, prescribed by her doc at Kaiser (after I'd already told him she was abusing). She conceals the bottle and consumption from me but after picking up a 60 tablet bottle thursday afternoon, I found that saturday evening - it was no where to be found. I believe she took all of them, and is sleeping all day right now. I do not want to create a scene, or have an ambulance come out and her refuse them, also. What should I do? Leave her to lie in the bed she made?

I'm moving to Minneapolis in 3 weeks. I'm disabled and live on SSDI (bad back). Does anyone know about any programs I could look into that provide any kind of benefits for the disabled there? For instance, here in Colorado there is an Adult Home Care Program for ppl. who have trouble doing housework or caring for themselves. The program provides a person to come in for a certain number of hours per week and clean, perhaps cook, etc. This particular program runs thru Medicaid, so I got Medicaid because of the program. Now that I am moving and leaving the program, I lose my Medicaid, too! Anyone know about this stuff? Also, does anyone know of a discounted dental program for ppl. with no money or disabilities? Since bladder sling surgery (with cadaver tissue), I've had severe butt pain that usually goes away when up and walking around. It's worse at night and when sitting a long time. Muscle relaxers and aspirin therapy don't seem to help. It's getting worse and beginning to hurt during the day as well. Any idea what it is?

almost one year ago, i was in a soccer game and had a nasty collision. i ended up with a broken face that had to be repared with titanium plates in my face. i know someone who has a video of it and is willing to lend me a copy to watch. i am still afraid to play soccer again, although i have kicked a ball around with some ppl. should i watch the tape or will it only increase my fears?
