Does anyone know good ways to help you fall asleep with out sleeping pills or anything. Maybe home remedies or just things to do to make you sleepy. I am about to go crazy, it takes me 4 to 5 hours laying in bed to finally fall asleep. Help!

drink some tea, take a hot bath, try some meditation while lying in bed, try reading in bed... having a nightly routine really helps

i have major problems getting to sleep myself.. i find the hot bath method the best, get right from the tub into bed... another one i like is to get out my headphones and listen to some deepak chopra while i lie in bed with the lights off.. after a half an hour or less im ready to take off the headphones and sleep

Warm milk. Also...your mind is rambiling on and on..but thats not why you cannot fall asleep. It is because you listen and indentify with your mind that you cant whisk away into dreams. Follow these simple steps and I garentuee you will fall asleep faster than ever. Drink a warm glass of milk, set an intention of falling alseep. Meaning do not fear not being able to go to sleep, do not give any thought to that which you do not want. Intend that you wll fall asleep fast and feel well rested when you awake. After you drink the milk, set your intention and then lay in your bed. Do not give in to your mind...just ignore it and watch the thoughts as they pass by and just keep focusing on your intention. Sweet dreams.

You can take a diet suppliment Melatonin. Your body produces it naturally to help you fall asleep and it just increases you production of it. Take care when driving to work in the morning and don't take it if you are unable to sleep a full 8 hours and talk to your doctor about it as well.

A hot bath, a glass of warm milk are a couple that come to mind.

Try taking this sleep quiz on WebMD and see if you can find some answers.

Good luck and hopefully sweet dreams.

This is serious, so do not report me. But I think sex or masturbation will help you with this. If you have a partner that can help or just masturbate. I find I get really tired after an orgasm and really relaxed, but thats just me. (i am a guy so thats probably why)
