I don't know about that, but I do work in a dr office and there is aarp through UHC and just UHC(united healthcare). UHC by itself sucks. It hardly pays anything to us. AARP seems to be one of the best insurances besides BCBS. There is a deductible with AARP though but once you get past that, it seems to pay well. But United Healthcare by itself hardly pays for anything.

It depends on where you live, the physicans under the plan, what it covers in your are etc. You might want to check out the book "Healthcare for Less" by Michelle Katz at your local BArnes and Noble.....she gives a lot of great suggestions on ways to save money and what to look out for when selecting an insurance company as well as some great websites. If you go to www.medicare.gov, you may not get all the details...you need to compare it to AARP's answers...make sure you ask the right questions...the book, "Healthcare for Less" can help you with this process and save you a lot of heartache in the end...I got the HSA after reading it because that was the best for me....my mother used it and decided against the AARP...she said the original Medicare was best for her after reading the book.......I hope this helps.

The best place to get information and to compare prescription drug plans is www.medicare.gov. You can input all of your medications and your state and can compare all of the plans available in your area. The comparison will include the premium prices and the approximate drug costs for the year. It will also let you know which of your drugs are covered by each plan and what level of coverage is provided for each. Once you find a plan that meets your needs, you can even enroll online.
