General Health Care - September 2006

My friend has suddenly started to have symptoms of having a stroke but the doctors say she hasnt. She cant feel her arms or hands and now she cant even sit up, she has slurred speech. They ran an MRI and some heart test, and also a nerve test of some kind but everything come back normal. What else could this be are we over looking something? Also she had a car wreck several years ago and it damaged her back which she takes alot of medicine for, I dont know which kind she takes but could different drugs interact and cause symptoms like this? PLease help if you know anything it could be. Thanks.

I got a cold from my mom like 3 days ago and i need it to go away by monday, its just getting worse and worse...any suggestions? Ive been taking cold medicine, like cough/nasal medicine. I have been eating cough drops and used nasal spray. I really need it to be gone by monday...any ideas of what else i can do...oh yea ive been sleeping too....

I hurt my ankle (its all swollen and puffy - it really freaking hurts) should I walk on it? I had been walking on it for hours after I hurt it and it still hurt but I sat down for a while and now its so bad I can't walk on it. What happened? ANy suggestions? Should I continue to walk on it? all on the right side. now my index finger tip is numb. The pain in the neck and underarm is pretty bad. It radiates from the underarm to the elbow. When I lift my head up it makes the pain worse under my arm. Is it a pinched nerve? Will it go away or should I see a doc? Ive put off seeing a doc because of no insurance.

I have a history of a very fast heart rate and had sugery on it last month. For the last couple of weeks I have had a chest pain that is high by my shoulder. It is sharp. I have been on naproxon for innflamation, nexium, and even anxiex medication and still no relief. What can this be please help. I am only 21 with unkown consistant chest pain.
