can kids get lice in the summer time because my kids head is itching at the tiop and a little on the bottom and she keeps on picking at her hair what do i do ???

Kids can get lice anytime of year. If they com in contact with someone who has it. Your best bet is to buy some lice treatment, like Rid X and take care of it before she gets sent home from school over it. Then you will need a doctor note saying she is ok to go back to school.

you can get lice anytime of the year my little girl got it the 1st day at school this year .. thinking she got it on the bus... but think about all the times your kids are around someone they don't really know to well and if that person could of had head lice... you need to ck her head and if you think she has it then buy something for it I don't recomment a product called rid.. it is a pestiside and it didnt' work I used a product called licee and it did

Head lice is an all year thing. If you look at the hairs around her ears and at th back of her neck and see either white/silver dots that are on the hair individually they are shells or egg shells. eggs look darker and if you pull it off it will snap like a flea between your fingernails. Live louse are easiest seen but holding your daughter's hair and slowly fan it to look through it using sunlight. As your background. If she does have it. Use the shampoo kind and follow the instructions. It will kill the live ones that are on her head but it will not kill the eggs. They all have to be pulled out of her hair and snapped. Bag all her bedding and stuffed animals for two weeks and then wash them and all her clothes in hot water and dry them in the dryer good Luck

you can get those things any time . you need to pull up the bottom of her hair & see if you see any right along the hairs at the nape of her neck , if so i would go straight to the drug store . after you get through with her everything in your house must be cleaned sheets, towels , etc. i do mean everything
