No, I have taken class's on sleep studies. On average it takes a person 20 minutes to fall asleep. Out of one hour you sleep, you dream for 15 minutes. Some times the dream continues onto the next hour, sometimes you dream of something new. Try getting a sleep study on yourself it could be 1 of 2 things that's causing you restless nights. One you could have a sleep apnea, which causes you to wake up several times a night and you are not aware of it. The second is having restless leg syndrome, which, like a sleep apnea will make you wake up several times a night. Hope this helps.

Sounds like you have so many issues that your dreams cannot address them (dreams help us resolve conflicts in our daily lives so we can be fresh the next day). Work on those issues and your constant dreaming will subside.

It depends on what you dream. If you are awake in your dream- then- duh! you're not getting any sleep. Sleep in your dreams and then you get twice as much sleep
