If your range of motion is good, and your doctor has released you to an independant status, you should be able to do anything you want. A good place to start would be some sort of water exercise, like water aerobics or plain old swimming. Water sports do not hurt any joints, yet provide enough resistance to help you.

Walking is also a good thing to do. Start small and add more time or distance when whatever you are doing becomes easy.

I wouldn't suggest jogging......it's hard on the body.

You also should be able to use any workout machine in the gym.

Don't forget to drink lots of water.

Good luck!

Your doctor would be the one to ask for the best information.

Why are you asking complete strangers and not your doctor?
