I suffer from the smelly socks of a marine....
Its not too bad, just smelly and they never smelled before...

The socks if not worn by you, should not have the smell. It is your feet which is the culprit. Get your feet soaked in luke warm water each night for 20 mins with fragrant herbs and apply oilment afterwards

When I was in the service, at the end of the day I would take my boots off and MY FEET WOULD LITERALY BE STEAMING !
I had to set my boots outside my door 'till they cooled down so I could spray them down.This still happens sometimes.
