Pus is a sign of infection. If it is worse then the antibiotics are not working.

White blood cells fight the bacteria that causes infection; the cells that die as a result of this become pus. Some pus is to be expected with a new piercing, but frequent outbreaks or very large amounts of pus and/or inflammation are cause for concern.
The antibiotics you're taking may help to fight the bacteria in the short term, but you should apply some antiseptic directly to the piercing to help it along. Dettol would work well for this. Keep the piercing clean -- I recommend washing it at least twice a day in this manner.
If you are experiencing excessive pain, inflammation or bleeding, you'll need to remove the piercing (which will probably result in it closing up.

in case you have redness and white stuff popping out and discomfort, you have an infection. You mentioned it became pierced "up in the direction of the actual." i think you mean that this piercing became interior the stiff component to the ear, not the earlobe. it rather is not a stable place to get an infection. an infection regarding the cartilage might desire to be taken care of as quickly as possible with antibiotics. call your well being practitioner.

humm hard to say, pus is from ur white blodd cells attacking the infection and dieing, so at least ur body is doing its job. im sure it should stop or at least slow down. its prob a good sign that it is draining tho. it would be far worse and more painfull if the pus built up in your ear. that is prob what is suppose to happen

Make sure you are washing it and turning as well, you need to get any debris out of the hole that might have gotten caught.
White pus is not a good sign.

Worse - you need to clean the affected area (front and back) with alcohol several times per day and apply a triple antibiotic ointment.

It isn't any better. You better go back to the doctor. Maybe you need a different antibiotic. Keep it super clean in the meantime.

it is probably just draining. If you are on antibiotics, it should be getting better. After a few more days, if it is not better, consult your physician.

To me it means it is getting worse. But I am not a Doctor, maybe you should check with whomever you had it pierced with. I have an eyebrow earring and I had no problems. Just get it checked to be on the safe side.OK? promise you will..........................................................................
