General Health Care - September 2006

durning the day im sooo tired that i acn barley hold my eyes open but at night when im lying in my bed i cant seem to go to sleep its like any little thing will wake me up and then it will take me another 30min to fall back asleep i have to wake up at 5:30am to get ready to go to skool but i feel awful when i get there does anyone have any suggestions to this problem????

I take vitamins. I have never really known if they are really neccessary or not but I don't consume a fruit and vegetable every single day. My little brother rarely eats fruits and vegetables and he over eats on a daily basis. I am concerned about him getting proper nutrition and want to know what kind of vitamins he should take. At the grocery store I only see child specific vitamins for 2 and 3 year olds. Help please

recently i burned my face with the curling iron, i didnt think much of it since it barely brushed my face but now its all brown, ugly and nasty, it also feels hot to the touch does anybody know what i can do to make it heal faster? or if i will be left with a scar?

I have Blue Cross HMO, and it really hasnt worked for me. I need surgery on my knee and i've been waiting for 2 months to get it done, thanks to the fact that my insurance requires me to see a general doctor first (who makes u wait for like a month for an appt for a simple referral) then get another appointment for a specialist (wait another month) then wait 3 weeks again for an MRI, and now i have to wait another week and a half for surgery.

Please, help me find a good insurance. I'm tired of this! I live in southern california if that helps. Thanks

I like to try natural things first before the drugs etc. . But we need to ask our doctor things, almost everytime it is all negative comments. Fro example Fish oil Omega 3's. have be proven to really health in many areas of our health. In the doctors office was well written article about Omega 3 in their doctors journal magazine. My doctor told me it was like '"BS!". I take the omega 3's for 8 months now and my blood pressure is normal!! without the drugs. I did not tell the doctor. He thinks I am still on the drugs. He will now want to hear another story from me about fish oil!!

Many of you answere that it could be STD. I did ask him, he was surprised. The only thing he did was, sometime he masterbated in his underwear and fell sleep. Could this be the reason for the STD ?

approx. three weeks ago i stepped off a step wrong and heard my ancle snap. went to the med center and the dr. x-rayed it and said i had an avulsion break. he even drew a diagram of the break. later another say's it was an old injury. had it redone and they said it is not broke. i am still having problems with it and it is still about three times it's size. it also bruised on both sides and up my leg. i never had that with a sprain before. what does this sound like to you?

My glands are swollen in my neck and I have a slight sore throat. I don't have health insurance and don't want to pay the high price of going to the doctor out of pocket. Is this something I should really be worried about or will it clear on its own. My glands are swollen and tender to the touch, but I can breath just fine and still swollow.
