See a doctor.
I had a case of pluracy (bacterial infection on the lungs) in my early 20's though it is more common in older people. Very painful when I inhaled and it took a doctor to discover.
Or you could have a cracked rib, etc. A friend in high school cracked a rib while spiking a volleyball!
Better safe than sorry on this one.

Is it a sharp pain? Go to the hospital and get some x-rays.

tou may have bruised your ribs , wait a couple of days ,if symptoms exsist see a doc right away, dont wait!!
