Fungi soap works very well. It has tea tree oil in it. Lamisil also helps. You just have to use the Lamisil continuously for a few weeks. There are other medications that you can have prescribed by a doctor but they are very harmful to your liver and should only be used as a last resort. Research herbal/alternative medicine on the net.

There are many over the counter treatments, but I swear this is the truth, my friends doctor told her that the reason her family gets athletes foot and she doesn't, is because she pee's in the shower and their is something in urine that cures it. I am not kidding that is the truth. I didn't believe her so I asked, and other doctors say it is true.

Hydrogen peroxide, any antifungal cream or powder, yogurt (the acidophilous bacteria if it is live and active) either internally - to prevent further outbreaks - or externally if you can handle the thought. For more info, check the yeast link at www.hufa.org. Athlete's foot is just one thing caused by yeast (Candida fungus). Nail fungus, thrush, eczema, psoriasis and other skin conditions can be caused by it too.

Go to your local pharmacy, tell them your problem, and they can direct you to an over-the-counter creme to use that is best for you. If that doesn't work, see your Dr.
