Is it true that testing for herpes can only be done if there is an outbreak? I was told that you can do a blood test but they are not as accurate since there are so many types of herpes. Is there someone who can explain this?

in june and it was negative then she got tested in july and it was negative...do you think that the test is wrong because it may be too early to find out for sure. she was in the "crazy house" due to depression and thinks they may have given her that result so she wont kill herself. please help

Ok this is just kind of an I want your opinion type of question. Would you be more likely to date someone with hpv, or herpes. Like if you liked a person and they told you they had herpes, would you say yes or no. And if they said they had hpv instead would your answer change?? Just a question. Please no critasicm

i dated someone with herpies whom took daily valtrex (so he says) ..when weve had sex he used a condom..except for one time..he insisted he had no symptoms and we were safe because he takes the valtrex.....am i still MAJORLY at risk from getting them?
