I got mine at a young age, ok I am at a young age. I think that it a great idea, you get one for the chicken pox, that probably won't kill you, cervix cancer........yeah, that could. It's an STD we can prevent now.
If there was an AIDS vaccine wouldn't you want that to be mandatory? I think it's about the same idea...

A requirement to have a vaccination that will help prevent cervical cancer? I'd say yes.

absolutely not - the gov should not tell / regulate what anyone does with their body - what comes next - they regulate how many children you can have.
the HPV vaccine is also new and they know nothing about the side effects it has on people yet. I for one am not getting it for my daughter until it is out for a while. I know people (in fact 4 of my best friends) who work in the drug / pharmaceutical industry and they wont get it for their kids until it is out for about 4-5 years at least.

I don't think the Government should be dictating on what vaccinations you should or should not have. And why only girls?

no. There should be much more information made available on this. I think they are jumping the gun to fast. If they aren't sick yet why give them something that could make them very sick later.
