My friend recently had sexual relations with a girl who's past partner was thought (not a hundred percent) to have AIDS it's just a rumor but that kinda gotta him kinda frightened. IF this person had the virus, how long does it take for the virus to show up on a test if he went in for a STD test? Any suggestion would be very helpful. Thanks

Ok im kind of worried... Yesterday i went to the barber shop, while i was waiting for my turn i saw my barber shaving some dude and he cut him with the blade, it was a pretty big cut...my turn came right after that dude... and the dumb *** barber cut me with the same damn razor, he didnt even chance the razor or put it in the alcohol container.. could i have gotten an std?what are my chances of getting aids or something like that? thanks for your time

I just found out I was positive for HPV, through my Pap. I also just had my colposcopy & biopsy done. (Gotta wait 3weeks for the results) But I've never shown signs of warts- so because I am positive for HPV will I definitely get these Genital warts? Im pretty scared, & soo depressed for the past couple of weeks. I know "millions" are effected- but Damn this is tough to deal with.

I went to the doctor on Monday regarding a single lesion on my penis which was looked a lot like a pimple. My doctor asked if it hurt if it got squeezed and i said yes and he said you have herpes with no further testing. He then prescribed me a $250.00 7 day supply of Famvir which even states on the website "Has not been proven effective for initial outbreaks". Does this sound like I should get a second opinion or can herpes really be diagnosed by merely looking at it that easily? I do also have a medical history with Staph boils and such if it at all could be related. I really don't know what to think about this.

OK, I have been diagnosed with Genital Herpes, but I have not been with another woman besides my fiance in about 4 years. My Fiance does not have genital herpes and I never had, or I don't believe I have ever had an out break before. Oxi-Med, the genital wart and herpes treatment cream?? I've heard bad things about aldera and do not want to try it. My dr. doesn't seemed concerned about my warts, I'm guessing maybe because I am pregnant they can't do other treatments. But I am sick of them, I've had them for about 2 months. I've tried at home remedy and none seem to work. Or maybe I'm just not doing it long enough. Can someone please help me. I can't change dr.s at the moment. But I found that Oxi-med cream online and wanted to order it, just wondering if it works. thanks.

Three years ago I have a problem of Kidney Stone and it was cured by allopathic medicine.
