I went to the clinic to get tested and the doctor wanted to do a gyn exam on me. He said he would do a blood test for some stds but not for herpes.

Why can't I just have a blood test done?

Obviously herpes makes dating more difficult. But was anyone ever able to have a relationship/ marriage after being diagnosed?? Did you only date people with herpes?? How did people react when you told them?? What did you do?

We didn't kiss or anything so I'm relieved. But I can't help but feel for her knowing that the rest of her life guys are going to shy away from her each time she tells them. Man that sucks for her.

Does the sore appear generally in the same spot or can it move around? Do they always burst? How contagious is it if you have sex with a condom but you might be having an outbreak at the time and dont realise?

Lets say for arguments sake that the woman that i was having sex with DID have an STD.

When i was having sex with her the condom broke and i was having sex unprotected for 1 maybe 2 minutes tops. As soon as we noticed i immediately ran into the shower, washed my penis with soap and urinated. I washed in the shower for a good 5minutes.

What are my chances of contracting an STD given such a short period of contact?

Women are told this through out life. The young and the old guys want to enter raw, because of loss of sensation. Sex is an invasive act for women and condoms are their best protection agains STD's. I know of a young woman who is now HIV postive because she listen to this malarkey.

"can you and your partner have sex if you both are being treated for chlamydia at the same time? My little brother asked me and I don't know what to tell him, I have never had this problem. Can the people both pass it back and forth or is there a minimum time limit for them to get together?
