i was diagnosed with hpv (genital warts) but my boyfriend does not have it...how will we eventually get pregnant if i cant have unprotected sex with him for fear of passing the virus?

That is a risk that most couples are willing to take when they are trying to conceive.

There are other (more expensive) ways to have children like artificial insemination or In vitro fertilization.

Also, there is still a risk you can spread HPV to your boyfriend even if you use condoms. Condoms are not 100% effective in preventing the spread of STDs. They definitely HELP, but people can still contract STDs even if condoms are used.

Viruses like HPV and herpes can spread by DIRECT skin to skin contact. So, even if a couple uses a condom, it's only covering the guy's penis and not his entire genital area. Just the rubbing back and forth of the genital areas during sex is enough to spread either one of these viruses.

He can make his deposit into a cup and you can use a turkey baster to collect it and squirt it in. Pretty simple.
