You may need a physician's order for such a test, so the hospital can bill your insurance. If the hospital doesn't perform the test, they should be able to draw the blood and send it to the appropriate lab.

hospitals will do hiv tests on their inpatients as a diagnostic tool for symptoms or for needle stick injuries. that don't offer hiv testing on an outpatient basis. your best bet is to buy a home access test from the drug store. sixty dollars, results in 3 days, completely confidential.

No they do not. If go in the ER and they take blood they do NOT do HIV test unless u are going to have Surgery.

most hospitals dont do hiv tests you can find a clinic in your city where they do free testing just call your local health unit

go to the red cross and give blood, they check your blood for like 15 different diseases including HIV and aids. Also, there is a box you can check in private that says not to use ur blood but they still do the tests.
