Well i have a girlfriend. and we just kissed today. i had noticed a small red blister type sore a few centimeters or so below her lip. i have absolutely no idea if its a cold sore or not though. but if it is, even though its just a dry blister, can i possibly caught herpes type 1? (cold sores)

And please dont just say "Yah you got it" or something like that. thank you!

I have this red patch the size of a quarter I guess,on my arm. It's red and it looks just slightly raised. Then from the circular part there's these little red bumbs going down about an inch more. This morning it was really dry so I put lotion on it and it started to sting and burn really bad.I've had it about a week and it's gotten worse. I have no idea what it could possibly be or what could be causing it since I only have it on my arm. Any ideas. Thx.

i have always had beautiful skin but i also have a very high stress leveled job, clerical ,also care for my disabled mom, i have tried proactive that stuff is pure crap, murad burned my face, and so now i am trying dandelion capsules can anyone offer some other suggestions?

usually i only had pimples during my period. but since 6 or 7 months ago, ive had pimples all around my face. 1st it started at my left cheek, then on my forehead, n now, at my right cheek. what the hell is happening to me?im 22. ive tried using pimple cream, wash my face twice daily, but it doesnt seems to stop appearing. pls help me!

ok i've got really dry skin all over my body and it itches really bad
but then like after a while (even when i don't scratch it) there are little red bumps like rashes, they do NOT ooze anything theyre just like small mosquito bites.
i do put on lotion and stuff. is it an infection from the dry skin or what?

I have tried everything, My Dermatologist is now working on getting a Therapist for me so that a doctor can help me just deal with my acne. My Doctor is very good, he has given me many medications all of them worked but only for the period of time I was taking them, then it would just come right back. I need a Herbal Treatment, or a Religious Treatment absolutely anything that hasn't been tried by the large majority of acne sufferers. I've been told there are many people out there with acne that are still fighting to get rid of it but I do not want to have to fight it for my entire life and I can't just wait it out. This Acne is not apart of my spiritual body nor is it my friend, I need to get rid of it but all the conventional ways have not worked can anyone help me?

Just about like 3 weeks ago I started braking out on my stomach....now it spread up to my upper back and under arms. This brakeout is so wierd cause i dont even have the type of pimples that are coming out on my body on my face. These pimples are very swollen and they kinda hurt . I have very sensitive skin .....I cant wear any fake jewlery and my I have to be very careful with the buttons on my jeans cause they'll make me brake out to a rash on my stomach. I dont know what to do??? Im just waiting for my insurance card to arrive throught the mail and when it dos Im going straight to the dermatologist.....while I wait ....wut should i do????

I'm using birth control for the first time and my doctor prescribed it to clear up my acne. She prescribed Orthro Tri Cyclen but my pharmacist said TriNessa is the generic version and my insurance wouldn't pay for brand name. The first month I saw my face clearing up a lot but now the second month my skin when crazy. I suddenly have so many breakouts. I've been reading mixed reviews about TriNessa but could that be the reason for the breakout? Should I try the brand name instead or another one like Yaz?

i don't really have an acne problem. my dad has rosacea and i was wondering if i could possibly have it, too. i'm only 20 and i read that it doesn't set in until a person's 30s but i still wonder because my face looks like the pictures i found on the web of the early stage of rosacea. does anyone have any possible things it could be or does anyone have rosacea and could tell me more about it?

I'm just curious and just read this off of some where and heard someone talking about it. Does it really help your skin? And if you do put it on, wouldn't dirt and things like that get stuck or stick to the gel? What does Vaseline or Petrolium Jelly do for your skin and how does it help you?? Okay, there is only one dermotogist in our area. The closest other one is 4 hours round trip.

The first time I went, they gave me a face was (40 bucks), a creme to stop oil, retin-a, and minocycline. I didn't get to see the actual dermo, just a nurse.

I went back and saw her again and asked if there was anything else I could take, becuase it wasn't working. She said it was this or Accutane. I said no accutane.

I went again today and was supposed to see the real dermo. He saw me for less than 5 minutes, gave me another antibiotic and said it was this or Accutane. I told him I don't want Accutane. When he came back in he stressed Acutane again.

We don't have alot of money and I cannot buy the face wash. That would be about 80 dollars a month. I told him I couldn't afford it. He offered no alternative, just crossed it off the list.

We get to the pharmacy and they tell us the gel he gave me was 90 dollars!

What should I do? Why are they pushing Accutane on me?

I have clogged pores and black heads. I can squeeze huge "seed like things" out of the holes. They keep coming back.

I have filled a whole jelly jar full almost in the last 6 years.

How can I get them to stop??

Hello, My name is Mackenziee and i am 15 years old and i was just a little concerned about a few things!! I know that i shold talk to my mom and my doctor but sometimes asking a strager is a lil easier!! Anyway to the point..... The past few months i have noticed small bruises all over my legs and my arms that i haven't a clue how they got there!! I don't feel sick or anything just been a little tired lately! Should i be concerned about this or is it nothing!! I am not really a fan of going to the doctor I don't really like needles so i keep telling myself that it is nothing!! I know I am being a baby!!!!!

I had an ingrown eyebrow that turned into a pimple. It is now a huge crater and is not healing very well. The scab keeps coming off and I am afraid I am going to get a nasty scar between my eyes. Any thoughts?

i work at a pet shop and there's a guinea pig who has some kind of skin infection. he has bald dry patches all over his body. well i'be been handling him and now i have bumps and itchy spot on my arms, belly and back. what can i do to treat this myself and what can it be? i would really appreciate any help. i'm very worried.
