Hello, My name is Mackenziee and i am 15 years old and i was just a little concerned about a few things!! I know that i shold talk to my mom and my doctor but sometimes asking a strager is a lil easier!! Anyway to the point..... The past few months i have noticed small bruises all over my legs and my arms that i haven't a clue how they got there!! I don't feel sick or anything just been a little tired lately! Should i be concerned about this or is it nothing!! I am not really a fan of going to the doctor I don't really like needles so i keep telling myself that it is nothing!! I know I am being a baby!!!!!

Thank you so much for taking the time to answer my question!

There are many, many causes for easy bruising. It could be nothing or it could be something quite serious. The only way to know is to go to the doctor and let them run some tests. There is no way we can diagnose you over the internet. Please tell your mom and make an appointment. :)

First, tell your mom, then go to a doctor, you could have circulatory problems. Are you following some fad diet or are anorexic or bulimic. There are many causes for that but nothing beats going to a professional for a checkup. Although well meant, most of the info you will get here will never subsitute proper medical care. By the way, nobody likes needles, or being poked and prodded, but a doctor cannot help you unless you provide the information he or she needs to diagnose your ailment and treat you.

Mackenziee - it all depends on whether you are in athletics or not. These can be innocent bumps that you get that you don't even notice at the time but still make bruises. If you are in athletics, you have a higher chance of all of these little bruises. If you are not, I might make a conscious effort to determine when the new ones come up and whether you have bumped that area. If they become larger and darker and more and more frequent, you probably should have it looked at.

First of all you shouldn't take medical advice from anyone who isn't qualified and no one can diagnose a medical problem over the internet. If you are bruising and its not from hard physical contact, I believe you are probably hemmoraging(sp). Why this is happening is for a Doctor to decide. If you'd like to be 18 some day you should probably mention this to someone.

Mckenzie you should tell ur mom. Sometimes it could be anemic especially in women. Or it can be medication you are taking. A simple blood test can tell ur doctor alot.
