My Boston terrier is 12 years old and has very labored breathing with little exertion and can't tolerate being overheated at all. He even has trouble swallowing. The vet said he has a possible collapsed vocal cord. Any help for that?

I keep reading about Eucalyptus Oil loosening up phlegm, especially in bronchitis. I have been sick with a cold for a week now, and I'm really coughing hard. I can't see my doctor until Monday, but I need some relief. Where can I buy this oil, and does it really work?

A couple of years ago, the contractors removed popcorn ceiling from my house. Not sure if there was any asbestos. My question is what, if anything I should do now. Is it possible to have harmfull level of asbestos now two years later after all the vacuming, moping, and airing out? If so what should I do? From what I have read, small amounts of asbestos are found everywhere and are not considered harmfull. Also, the folks who got cancer, worked in factories being covered head to toes in asbestos for several years. How concerned should I be?

I am a healthy female in my mid twenties. I have never had any health problems or anything. However, in the last 8 months (since May), i have had Pneumonia 2 times and Broncitis 2 times. I now have a cold that is starting to get worse like all the other times durng the last 8 months.

Everytime i go to the doctor, they just give me antibitoics, etc. It takes me about 4 weeks to get all the way better again. They dont seem to be concerned that i am getting so many respitory problems lately. But i cant help but be concerned, because it is interfering with my life and work.

I am exposed to second hand smoke at work, but i have been exposed to it for the last 4 years, and i am just now getting sick this year, so i dont know if it is related or not.

I have Hicups at least 3 times a day. And I have had them really bad. Or what are some causes of Hicups. We read somewhere that they are caused by a hard death. And a guy friend of mine that I liked died from some kind of thing and I pass his grave EVERYDAY! and I see his sister every tuesday at dance. Is that the cause or is it something else?

Please answear!!

I'm staying with my Dad and Mom for a few days and I want to do some good detailed cleaning around the house while I'm here. However, I don't want to asphyxiate Dad, who has COPD and is on oxygen 24/7.

I have heard that a dilution of hydrogen peroxide in a spray bottle is a good surface disinfectant because it has no odor. But I'd like to use something that also will remove any greasy buildup in the kitchen, fingerprints on the doors, etc. Hydrogen peroxide is unfortunately not a grease cutter.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

My child is currently taking a steroid based inhaler as well as steroid from the singulair. She is asthmatic. She takes two 'puffs' of the inhaler (advair) in the morning and again at night. Also at night she takes one chewable singulair tablet. It has been about 4 or 5 weeks since we've started this regimen. I have noticed that she went from being a mild mannered little angel to a screaming demon. She is more aggressive, in as much as hitting, pushing, and yelling at her sister and even myself. The difference in her behavior is completely obvious. She went from being a fairly easy going child to being a high strung and aggressive child. Could this be caused by this medicine? She literally will 'attack' you if you don't comply with her requests, she's NEVER done things like that. I am unsure what to do. I think maybe she's OVER medicated and it agitates her. Can anybody tell me what may cause this Jeckyl and Hyde behavior?
